The members of the GSU Nuclear Physics Group is developing a modular Cherenkov ring imaging (mRICH) detector for the future Electron Ion Collider (EIC) experiments.
The first mRICH prototype detector was built at GSU and successfully tested at Fermi National Accelerator Lab in April of 2016. A paper has been submitted for publication.
The second mRICH prototype is currently under construction.
