Travel, Lodging and Dining

Travel to Atlanta  Atlanta has the world busiest airport with many direction flights to many cities in US and the major cities around the world. Once one arrives at the Atlanta airport, it only takes about 20 minutes to get to the hotel area via a subway (called Marta) directly from the airport terminal. The Red and Yellow lines will take you directly from the airport to Peachtree Center Station which is located directly in front of the Residence Inn. When you arrive at Peachtree Center Station, walk towards the Ellis Street/Peachtree Street exit. One needs to purchase a “Breeze Card” for $2 to ride Marta. Marta fare is $2.50 for a one-way trip.  No rental car is needed if one stays in hotels next to GSU campus.
